Quote: I'm not gonna drain you completely. You're gonna turn for me, you'll be my slave. You'll live for me. You'll eat bugs because I order it. Because I don't think you're worthy of human blood, you'll feed on the blood of stray dogs. You'll be my foot stool. And at my command, you'll lick the dog s**t from my boot heel. Since you'll be my dog, your new name will be "Spot". Welcome to slavery.

History:

Santanico Pandemonium was born Esmeralda, the daughter of the “Hangman” of a small town in Mexico . During the execution of a wanted outlaw named Johnny Madrid, Esmeralda crept into the crowd assembled to watch the execution. When her father noticed her, he beat her in front of the crowd and sent her away. With the help of a “want-to-be” outlaw, Madrid was able to escape the hanging and took Esmeralda as a “hostage”.

The Hangman chased the outlaw, who robbed a stage coach and its passengers (including the author, Ambrose Bierce) and double crossed the “want-to-be”. All sought refuge in an old Tavern in the middle of the Mexican desert. To the horror of everyone, the Tavern turned out to be the lair of a group of vampires. Furthermore, the “leader” of the Vampires, a woman called Quixtla, revealed that she was in fact Esmeralda's mother. After most of the mortals were destroyed and the rest were captured, Quixtla called forth Esmeralda's grandmother and proceeded to perform a ritual that would destroy the grandmother and transform Esmeralda into a vampire.

The mortals broke free but the ritual was a success, Esmeralda was turned and rechristened Santanico Pandemonium. All but two of the mortals were turned or murdered during their escape, as were many of the vampires. Santanico remained as the new leader of the vampires. For over 100 years, the saloon operated, luring wayward travelers and later truckers and bikers to their deaths on the vampire's fangs.

The legacy ended when two more wanted outlaws, Seth and Ritchie Gecko walked into the bar, now known as the “Titty Twister” along with their three hostages, a former preacher and his two children. Santanico, who was now appearing as the main attraction on stage, seduced Ritchie and once he was turned, Seth led the remaining mortals in a desperate fight to survive until dawn. Santanico was destroyed in the battle and her curse was ended.
